I have drawn and painted birds since I was a child. I am drawn now to folk art and painted wooden birds and the movement of light across their surfaces, Here I have teamed the sunshine of my yellow bird with the lustrous shiny pink of a solid and sumptuous elephant. They sit together and apart in a sea of warm blue…connected despite all their differences.
