Enjoying the Rain Painting

An original painting in gouache and pencil on watercolour paper….beloved things and interesting items that suggest bigger worlds of love, friendship, remembrances and things hoped for.

This painting is a rumination on the ability of choice to effect my mood - a colourful bird enjoys the rain using an old tyre as a bird bath rather than focus on the old tyre. The expanse of blue helps with a bit of ease too.
