Growth is one of a series multi-layered pieces journeying into imagined spaces suggestive of treasure boxes or little worlds using motifs of flora and fauna.
‘English Antique’ glass is amongst my favourite type to work with and allows for deep sandblasting and low-relief etching which conspire to give rich surface textures and surfaces ripe to paint and enamel. Here it is combined with rich yellow silver-stained glass.
Each piece is signed and dated and comes in a beautiful gift box ready to give to that special someone (even if that someone is you!)
