Flaming Deer
Following on the heels of my first-ever stained glass limited edition ‘Leaping Deer’ piece, this is one of four larger one-off pieces that expands on the theme chosen to celebrate leaping into new endeavours- a common experience for many of us through the past few pandemic years!
This piece uses rich red and blue enamel that combine into a glowing combination on beautiful streaky handmade red glass through the image of the embroidery inspired leaping deer in an imagined landsacpe. The piece is unique and uses a combination of screen-printing and traditional stained glass hand-painted enamels that have been fired in a kiln to create a permanent piece of stained glass art work.
It will give you colour and pleasure through the year and change in response to the light each day. What new things do you want to leap into this year?
It is leaded and comes ready to hang. Each one is signed and dated and comes in a beautiful gift box ready to give to that special someone (even if that someone is you!)
The panel measures 140mm Wide x 170mm High, not including hanging hook, and comes with a brown satin cord for hanging.
All items will appear different in different light sources and times of the day as light changes- this is the beauty of stained glass!

Care information: Dust when necessary and wipe with a damp cloth if it gets really mucky for some reason. Please wash your hands after handling any leaded item.
