Drawing at the British Museum

I’m doing research and development for new work and as happy as a pig in muck drawing at the British Museum this weekend – I spent most of my time looking at the Sutton Hoo finds as well as 6th- 9th century Scandinavian artifacts – including a whalebone tablet and bird-motif’d brooches, pictured below. I’m able to do this thanks to a Continuing Professional Development grant from the Worshipful Company of Glaziers!  Watch this space for how it comes together!
