Buses…that’s what my posts are like….nothing for ages and then 3 at once.
The last couple of days away have given me non-internet space to doodle,to play with collage, paint, the camera and some lead tokens I bought from a metal detectorist. They look very like coins and the ones I have vary in size between that of a modern 5 and 10p piece. They are made of lead and impressed/stamped with a variety of designs. They have been used for bartering and as extra, often local, currency for centuries.
I’m fascinated by the mixture of solid, strong lines combined with weathering and decay. I’m also a sucker for a circle and have decided to embrace it and explore the motif rather than ignore it.

I am a stained glass artist living and working in the beautiful Preseli hills of West Wales.
I've chosen glass as my creative medium for its unparallelled intensity of light and colour.
I specialise in traditional glass painting and work mainly to commission in the creation of new work for churches, private and public buildings in the form of windows or some other architectural application. I also make smaller scale bespoke glass pieces using traditional stained glass techniques such as glass painting, staining and etching.
